Julie Auxier
Mrs. Auxier teaches high school/middle School mathematics (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Calculus). She began teaching at Waterbrook in 2018. Before teaching at Waterbrook, Julie was part of the adjunct mathematics faculty at Delta College, Davenport University, St. Clair County Community College, and Mott Community College. Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU). She continued her education at SVSU earning her Master of Arts Classroom Teaching with emphasis in mathematics. Her favorite thing about Waterbrook is the students because they have great attitudes and positive mindsets towards learning. Julie became interested in teaching because she had great teachers as a child and she feels God gave her the desire to be a teacher as she was very shy and quiet when she was younger. Julie enjoys teaching the most when she can lead a student to have that “Aha moment” when they suddenly understand a topic they struggle with. In addition to teaching, she enjoys volunteering at her church, attending church activities, and spending time with her family.
