ATHLETICS
Waterbrook student athletes strive for excellence in competition with the same enthusiasm they bring to the classroom.
In addition to physical training, Hart Athletes gain much more through their participation in athletics such as self-discipline, perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and integrity. In 2020, our boys varsity basketball team won the MICAA League championship! Waterbrook is in the Michigan Christian Schools Athletic Association (MCSAA) league, as well as the National Christian Schools Athletic Association (NCSAA). Waterbrook offers basketball, volleyball, softball, bowling, and archery. |
student life
Student Life at Waterbrook is vibrant and always moving. Activities and clubs taking place both inside and outside of the classroom help our students grow socially, spiritually, and intellectually. Members of Student Council coordinate campus social activities. Members of Honor Society engage in service projects and student leadership. Students lead daily morning worship and devotion. Students also dedicate one day a month to volunteer throughout the community.

a classical christian education
As a member of the Society for Classical Learning, Waterbrook is part of a national community of educators and leaders who actively pursue the advice Paul left with the Ephesians when he instructed them to nurture their children in the paideia of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). The Greeks used the word Paideia in reference to culture or a way of life.
Similarly, when Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He instructed them to invite the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Through a Classical Christian Pedagogy, Waterbrook aspires for a Kingdom Education: the Paideia of the Lord. This is the Christ-centered environment in which our students thrive and excel. See what happens when you expect more. |
